This is the second book in the Katy Sterling series. In the first book, “Destiny”, Katy Sterling, an orphan adopted by her uncle after pirates killed her parents and kidnapped her sisters, enters the Destiny Navy’s Naval Academy. During her midshipman cruises she is involved in a series of space battles. Through her actions she becomes the youngest person in the history of the planet Destiny to be awarded the Medal of Honor for her bravery.
After her graduation from the Academy, she is called home to the town of Cloverdale where she finds that her uncle has been killed, and she has inherited one the largest landed estates on the Planet. She is now Lady HomeFall one of the 100 Peers-of-the-realm, extraordinarily wealth and marked for assassination.
